Amazon have a new eReader that uses the Google Chrome internet explorer. it’s called Amazon Cloud and enables you to read Kindle books on your PC without downloading any more software, even when you are offline. It is available from Amazon.com – just click on the Kindle link in the lefthand menu. The Kindle for PC free e-reader is also available there.
